Club Sites terms
- Free. Club Sites cost nothing. Sailboats USA does not process dues, fees, class payments or donations — members pay through the club’s own payment page, and any problem with a payment is between the member and the club.
- Run by the club. Only a club’s officers may create or manage its site. We review every new club and every claim before it’s published, and may ask for proof that you hold an office. The ✓ Verified club badge means we confirmed that.
- Unclaimed pages contain only basic public facts (name, location, founding year, website) so members can find the club. Officers can claim, correct or ask us to remove them at any time: contact@sailboatsusa.com.
- Accuracy. Event times, class details, prices and policies are posted by each club. Confirm with the club before you travel, pay or sign up.
- Members-only content is shown only to people the club’s officers approve. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want a member to share. Officers are responsible for who they approve.
- Member privacy. A member’s email and phone are shown to fellow members only if that member chooses to share them. Officers see the contact details members give when they join.
- Safety. Sailing and on-the-water activities carry risk. Clubs are responsible for their own programs, instructors, waivers and insurance.
- We may hide or remove a club site that breaks these terms or the privacy policy.
